GraceLife Baptist Church recognizes that it is our responsibility to partner with what God is doing around the world to reach people for Christ. That leads us to involvement with a variety of missions organizations around the world.
International Mission Board
[two_col]As Southern Baptists, the primary way we direct our missions support is to the International Mission Board of the SBC. In 2009, the IMB started over 20,000 churches, and a portion of every dollar given to GraceLife’s General Fund goes towards this great work. In addition, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, collected during the month of December, goes directly to supporting our almost 5000 missionaries on the field.
Southern Cross Project
GraceLife also takes at least one trip a year to participate with the ministry of the Southern Cross Project. This unique opportunity allows our church members to distribute Bibles and Christian literature to Chinese tourists in various parts of the world. These trips take our members to places like Thailand, New Zealand, and Taiwan to help reach mainland Chinese people who have little hope otherwise of hearing the Gospel.
Other International Opportunities
As a church, we support other individuals and organizations at various times to meet various needs. We are always excited to see and be a part of what God is doing around the world! From taking other short-term trips, to helping sponsor college students and non-IMB missionaries, we recognize the vital nature our mission of reaching a lost world for Christ.
